Antacid Gummy

When horses are ridden, shipped, engaged in stressful situations, or otherwise unable to fill and protect their stomachs from a constant influx of gastric acid, they begin to feel the corrosive effects of that acid very quickly.

Tummy gummies are a revolutionary way to help protect your horse’s stomach by buffering and neutralizing gastric acid before and during stressful situations. Horses produce up to 16 gallons of acid a day, that when not constantly absorbed by forage, can quickly irritate the stomach lining causing severe pain.

Tummy gummies begin neutralizing acid on contact, and are a fast, effective, and delicious way to keep your horse comfortable in stressful situations.

What are Tummy Gummies?

Tummy Gummies are a revolutionary way to help protect your horse’s stomach by buffering and neutralizing gastric acid before and during stressful situations. Horses produce up to 16 gallons of acid a day, that when not constantly absorbed by forage, can quickly irritate the stomach lining causing severe pain.

How long are the Tummy Gummies effective?

The gummies start neutralizing acid on contact and reach peak buffering capacity within 15 minutes. When feeding four at a time the peak buffering effects will last approximately 45 minutes. It’s perfectly safe to feed additional gummies after that time to extend it.

How soon before riding should I feed the gummies?

The gummies start neutralizing acid on contact and reach peak buffering capacity within 15 minutes. Most people like to feed them while the horses are being tacked up. But there is no wrong time to feed the gummies.

Can I give more than 4 gummies?

Yes. If you think your horse responds well to additional gummies per serving it is perfectly safe to feed more than 4 at a time.

If a horse swallows a Tummy Gummy whole and does not chew it, will it still work?

Yes, it will still work. It will take longer for the gummy to dissolve because chewing it increases the surface area available to buffer the acid, but it will still be effective.

Is there a difference between the carrot and peppermint gummies?

The only difference between the two is their taste. The peppermint gummy is made with peppermint extract and the carrot gummy is made with carrot purée. Both gummies contain the same amount of active ingredients.

Do the gummies change color over time?

Your eyes are not playing tricks on you! It is completely normal for the gummies to darken over time. This does not affect the efficacy or the safety of the gummies. The darker color is a normal response to oxidation.

Do you offer farm incentive programs?

Yes.  For barns buying in bulk please email us at info@equineelixirs.com to discuss eligibility and incentive structure.

Do you have sales or promo codes?

No. We do not have sales or promo codes because we offer the highest quality product at the lowest possible price year round.

Do you have sample sizes of the supplements?

No.  The reason we do not have sample sizes is because the average time frame for seeing an improvement is generally 2-3 weeks so for people wanting to sample the products we suggest starting with the 30 day supply.

Testimonials
Tummy Gummies make a big difference in my everyday training rides.
I can literally feel that their stomachs are softer and more receptive to my leg aids, which also allows them to be softer in the bridle. My horses love both the peppermint and carrot flavors!
