Tummy Crunchies are a "crunchy" alternative to the revolutionary Tummy Gummies, which help protect your horse’s stomach by buffering and neutralizing gastric acid before and during stressful situations. DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Administer 3-4 Crunchies approximately 5-10 minutes before competition, training or engaging in other potentially stressful situations. Store in a cool dry place (45°F-75°F) out of direct sunlight with lid closed.
To maintain quality and potency, product is manufactured with higher active ingredient levels than indicated amount per serving. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal's condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian.

Are Crunchies safe for metabolic horses?
Yes! Tummy Crunchies are designed to be safe for metabolic horses. The combined sugar and starch (NSC) content is less than 6%, which makes it safe for horses with with Cushings, PSSM and other metabolic issues.
What are Tummy Crunchies?
Tummy Crunchies are a crunchy and delicious way to help protect your horse’s stomach by buffering and neutralizing gastric acid before and during stressful situations. Horses produce up to 16 gallons of acid a day, that when not constantly absorbed by forage, can quickly irritate the stomach lining causing severe pain.
How long are the Tummy Crunchies effective?
They start neutralizing acid on contact and reach peak buffering capacity within 15 minutes. When feeding four at a time the peak buffering effects will last approximately 45 minutes. It’s perfectly safe to feed additional Crunchies after that time to extend the effects.
What is the difference between Tummy Gummies and Tummy Crunchies? Does 1 Gummy = 1 Crunchie?
The primary difference between the Gummies and Crunchies is the consistency. Some horses prefer a gummy consistency and some prefer a crunchy cookie. Tummy Gummies and Tummy Crunchies have the same active ingredients in the same ratios. One Gummy is the same as one Crunchy regarding its acid buffering capacity.
What makes Tummy Crunchies different from other antacid products?
One of the primary differences is that it’s in a crunchy to-go cookie format that makes it easy to feed anytime and anywhere. Many antacid products are liquid or powders that have to be added to grain and are not convenient to travel with. Another difference is that Tummy Crunchies are made with whole food ingredients with an extremely low NSC content making them safe for metabolic horses while other antacid cookies are higher in sugar, starch and other fillers.
How soon before riding should I feed the crunchies?
The Crunchies start neutralizing acid on contact and reach peak buffering capacity within 15 minutes. Most people like to feed them while the horses are being tacked up. But there is no wrong time to feed the Crunchies.
Can I give more than 4 Crunchies?
Yes! It is perfectly safe to feed more for additional support and to prolong the effects.
