Can I administer two scoops of Ulceraser once a day instead of one scoop twice a day?

To maximize results we recommend dividing the two scoops between morning and evening servings. If this is not possible it is ok to administer both scoops at once.

If my horse is finishing an omeprazole treatment is it ok to start administering Ulceraser before treatment ends?

Yes, in fact we recommend it so your horse starts receiving the benefits of the supplement prior to the acid rebound effect, which begins when treatment ends.

How long does it take to see a difference when I start using Ulceraser?

All horses are unique so the time frame varies, but the average is 2-3 weeks.

Is it ok to give extra Ulceraser at a horse show or during times of additional stress?

Yes, but you should start administering the extra dose a few days before the onset of additional stress.

Is it ok to use Ulceraser and Positude together?

Yes because both products complement each other. Ulceraser supports digestive health and Positude regulates hormonal behavior.

Is Ulceraser horse show safe even though it contains tryptophan?

Yes.  Tryptophan is not a prohibited substance under the USEF, FEI or AQHA.

Does Ulceraser support the hindgut?

Yes! One of the causes of hindgut ulcers is an excessively acidic environment caused by disturbances in the micro flora associated with a diet high in sugar and starch. Ulceraser’s forage blend supports the hindgut in several ways: it acts as a pH buffer to help buffer acid as it makes its way through the GI system, it encourages digestion in the foregut rather than in the hindgut thereby reducing the release of volatile fatty acids that cause pH to plummet and kill beneficial bacteria in the hindgut which can lead to ulcers, it serves as a prebiotic, and the glutamine content helps strengthen and build mucosa throughout the GI tract.

If you really want to target the hindgut you should also consider adding Symbiotic, which is a pre/probiotic that targets the hindgut with research proven strains of yeast that help colonize beneficial bacteria, eliminate bad bacteria and mycotoxins, and help tighten the colonic junctions to address leaky gut and fecal water.

Can Ulceraser be given to a horse suspected of ulcers, but without a confirmed diagnosis?

Yes! Many people choose to treat the symptoms of suspected ulcers rather than go through the process of having them scoped (the reasons for doing so vary but two common ones include wanting to avoid the cost and stress to the horse). There are no negative side effects to feeding Ulceraser so even if your horse did not have ulcers, he would still benefit from the addition of Ulceraser to his diet: the glutamine helps build and strengthen mucosa throughout the GI tract, omega 3 fatty acids help reduce inflammation and swelling, the supplement is hydrophilic so it helps remove sand and debris from the gut, nitric oxide helps increase circulation and heal lesions, and it encourages digestion in the foregut (rather than the hindgut) avoiding the release of volatile fatty acids that can kill beneficial bacteria leading to hindgut ulcers.

This is a test FAQ question

This is a test FAQ answer

Do you have sales or promo codes?

No. We do not have sales or promo codes because we offer the highest quality product at the lowest possible price year round.

Do you have sample sizes of the supplements?

No.  The reason we do not have sample sizes is because the average time frame for seeing an improvement is generally 2-3 weeks so for people wanting to sample the products we suggest starting with the 30 day supply.

When using pharmaceuticals, I worry that there will be negative side effects in keeping the horses on them long term. With Ulceraser I never have this concern.

"I love that Ulceraser is all-natural. When using pharmaceuticals, I worry that there will be negative side effects in keeping the horses on them long term. With Ulceraser I never have this concern. The horses can live on Ulceraser, which promotes gut health and helps them better absorb the nutrients from their feed. Since starting my horses on Ulceraser over 3 years ago I’ve noticed that they better maintain their weight, their coats have improved, and so has their overall performance."

"Since starting my mare on Ulceraser I have been able to eliminate the expensive medications I needed previously in order to maintain her gastric comfort level. I love the fact that the supplement is all-natural and you can see the actual ingredients. It’s also cost-effective enough to use on multiple horses in the barn."

Ulceraser has helped make sure that our horses are at their very best comfort and health wise, and can therefore be at their best performance wise.

"Since starting my horses on Ulceraser, I have noticed a great improvement in their performance and behavior. With the stress of our heavy show schedule and travel, making sure the horses are healthy from the inside out is of the utmost importance. When a horse has any issues on the inside, it will not only show on the outside, but will affect their performance in the ring. Ulceraser has helped make sure that our horses are at their very best comfort and health wise, and can therefore be at their best performance wise. I have always placed a great deal of importance on my horses’ welfare, and Ulceraser helps ensure that they are cared for in the best possible way."

Georgina Bloomberg

We had one horse that was particularly cranky before starting Ulceraser. His temperament changed drastically after starting on the product.

"We had one horse that was particularly cranky before starting Ulceraser. He would charge the front of the stall bars when anyone walked by. On the crossties he would pin his ears, bite at the air and even kick out when you put the saddle or girth on. His temperament changed drastically after starting on Ulceraser and he has become a much more comfortable horse."

Stacia Madden

Top Trainer, Beacon Hill
I like that you can use Ulceraser on a daily basis and that it doesn't actually suppress the gastric action, but helps keep the horses comfortable with a daily dose.

"It's really important to me that Ulceraser is a natural product. Unlike chemicals that you use only on an occasional basis, I like that you can use Ulceraser on a daily basis and that it doesn't actually suppress the gastric action, but helps keep the horses comfortable with a daily dose. One horse in particular was very difficult when we would put on the saddle and girth. He was became dangerous on the crossties. After we started him on Ulceraser it was a night and day difference and he no longer reacts when we tighten the girth. My grand prix horses travel a lot and deal with a lot of stress in their daily routine. The Ulceraser really helps them take everything in stride because they don't have any ulcers that are bothering them."

Kevin Babington

When we started implementing Ulceraser into our program we noticed a significant improvement in the horses’ attitudes and coats.

"We’ve been feeding Ulceraser for several years. Feeding natural products allows you to start healing your horse from the inside out. When we started implementing Ulceraser into our program we noticed a significant improvement in the horses’ attitudes and coats. It is also easy to feed, and every horse likes it."

When feeding Ulceraser I never have to worry about the horses going off their feed or having any gastric upset.

"I’ve had great results with Ulceraser. My whole barn is on it. We do a lot of travelling and showing, and when feeding Ulceraser I never have to worry about the horses going off their feed or having any gastric upset. In the past I periodically felt the need to scope my horses based on certain behaviors, which showed that they had ulcers. Since starting the Ulceraser, I have not felt the need to scope any of the horses because they no longer exhibit any of those behaviors."

Julie Curtin

Top Hunter Rider and Trainer, New Vintage Farm
I had a horse that even after being treated medically for ulcers, would periodically look back at the rider’s leg and resist. After introducing Ulceraser, however, he was substantially more comfortable and willing to move forward off the rider’s leg.

"I have a couple of very hard keepers with some anxious tendencies. I started them on Ulceraser and began to see great results within a month as their muscle mass and overall appearances improved. I’ve found that any horse struggling to get the bloom over their top generally responds to Ulceraser within a month. I had a horse that even after being treated medically for ulcers, would periodically look back at the rider’s leg and resist. After introducing Ulceraser, however, he was substantially more comfortable and willing to move forward off the rider’s leg. "

My ponies have responded greatly to the Ulceraser in attitude and physical comfort.

"My ponies have responded greatly to the Ulceraser in attitude and physical comfort. We are always on the road going from show to show in new environments. After a few weeks at a show they can be snarky at the gate. Ulceraser has eliminated that problem for us. And my managers love feeding it because it’s easy to feed and all the horses eat it."

Gastric support is something that I take seriously, which is why we use Ulceraser on the whole barn.

Before I started feeding Ulceraser to my horses I didn’t realize how important gut health was in their overall performance.

"Before I started feeding Ulceraser to my horses I didn’t realize how important gut health was in their overall performance. I now realize that it was the missing link for so many horses that presented themselves as nervous or fresh. The horses using Ulceraser have all changed dramatically in appearance and performance. I highly recommend that everybody consider using this supplement."

"To prevent stomach upset and ulcer related issues associated with our travel and show schedule, we keep our entire barn on Ulceraser. Ulceraser helps our horses maintain their weight and shine and always feeling and performing their best."

Scott Stewart

Top Hunter Rider and Trainer, Rivers Edge Farm
I use it on multiple horses in my barn now because I really believe in it.

"I’ve noticed a huge difference in my horses. I really believe that if their stomachs are happy, and they’re able to digest better, and you have their GI working properly, then they’re going to get more nutrients out of the rest of their feed. I use it on multiple horses in my barn now because I really believe in it."

Devin Ryan

We’ve tried so many other things before that just sat in the bottom of the feed tub, but they never leave any Ulceraser behind. They will really eat it out of your hand.

"We have about 35 horses and ponies on Ulceraser. We definitely see a difference and it helps keep them all relaxed. We like that there’s nothing chemical in it and you don’t have to worry about pronouncing any of the ingredients. We’ve tried so many other things before that just sat in the bottom of the feed tub, but they never leave any Ulceraser behind. They will really eat it out of your hand."

The fact that my horses deal with the high stress of traveling and showing and always being on the move was what drew me to Ulceraser.

"My horses love Ulceraser, and I’ve seen positive improvements in all of them. The fact that my horses deal with the high stress of traveling and showing and always being on the move was what drew me to Ulceraser. Their coats look great, they maintain their weight well, and they seem very happy. I’ve done a lot of traveling this year and the horses have been comfortable and healthy, and I definitely think a lot of that is due to Ulceraser. The product being all-natural and FEI-safe is definitely something that puts me at ease. I have a few picky eaters and I was impressed that they were so willing and eager to eat the supplement. "

The biggest change since we started using Ulceraser several years ago is that we have not had as many colics.

"We’ve noticed several positive changes since we started using Ulceraser several years ago. The biggest change is that we haven’t had as many colics. The horses are less grouchy and spooky, and overall much happier because their stomachs feel better."

When you lift up the lid you can identify each ingredient. You know exactly what you’re feeding your horse.

"When you lift up the lid you can identify each ingredient. You know exactly what you’re feeding your horse. We have an equitation horse that used to show daily signs of stress who was on specific medications for his ulcers. Since we started him on Ulceraser several years ago we’ve been able to eliminate the medications from his diet and he is maintained only on the Ulceraser."

Amy Momrow

Top Hunter Rider and Trainer, Stepping Stone Farm
Ulceraser is great for our horses’ overall health.

"The Positude helps the horses that are a little crabby and cranky and the Ulceraser is great overall for their health. Both products are so easy to use. We just scoop the Ulceraser in and the Positude bottles are easy to use. I love that the ingredients are all-natural. It’s so nice to have the option to use Positude if you have a horse that needs help with temperament instead of having to go the chemical route."

Amanda Lyerly

I have noticed an improvement in each horse’s overall appearance and the fact that on a consistent basis, every horse appears less anxious.

"I really like that Ulceraser treats the horses’ overall health and not just one problem. I have noticed an improvement in each horse’s overall appearance and the fact that on a consistent basis, every horse appears less anxious. It’s really nice to know that you can get a quality product at a good price."

It is the best product on the market for the horses’ stomachs.

"All the horses in my stable are on Ulceraser. It is the best product on the market for the horses’ stomachs. Their overall physical appearance and attitude has been substantially improved. My horses have had no gastric issues since I started using Ulceraser several years ago.

"I love Ulceraser. My horses have had no gastric issues since I started using it several years ago, and I like that it is all-natural and FEI safe."

I started using Ulceraser on five horses because my vet recommended it for one of my horses that was nervous and had trouble maintaining her weight.

"There are many ulcer products available on the market, but I’ve found great success with Ulceraser. It is safe for FEI horses and works to prevent the formation and recurrence of ulcers. I started using Ulceraser on five horses because my vet recommended it for one of my horses that was very nervous and had trouble maintaining her weight. We struggle to keep weight on some of the more nervous horses, but Ulceraser has really helped with that. I believe it can be helpful for anyone with an ulcer-prone horse."

Ulceraser makes the horses I ride feel much more comfortable and improves their attitudes and willingness to work.

"Ulceraser makes the horses I ride feel much more comfortable and improves their attitudes and willingness to work. Previously, I had trouble keeping weight on several of my clients’ young horses and their coats were dull. Once we started using the Ulceraser we were able to improve these issues and the horses immediately began holding their weight better and their coats improved dramatically. I recommend Ulceraser to all my clients. "

One particular horse who was a worrier and had trouble maintaining weight now stresses substantially less, maintains his weight well, and is winning at WEF.

"I maintain all my show horses on Ulceraser because of the stress associated with showing. After we started using Ulceraser, the horses were more comfortable and stopped acting cranky or snarky. One particular horse who was a worrier and had trouble maintaining weight now stresses substantially less, maintains his weight well, and is winning at WEF."
