Can I administer two scoops of Ulceraser once a day instead of one scoop twice a day?
To maximize results we recommend dividing the two scoops between morning and evening servings. If this is not possible it is ok to administer both scoops at once.
How quickly can I expect to see a difference?
Usually within the first shoeing cycle. Hoof growth is notoriously slow, but Crackdown will start increasing the rate and quality of growth within the first 3-4 weeks.

If a horse swallows a Tummy Gummy whole and does not chew it, will it still work?
Yes, it will still work. It will take longer for the gummy to dissolve because chewing it increases the surface area available to buffer the acid, but it will still be effective.
Is it possible to buy Crackdown in bulk?
If my horse is finishing an omeprazole treatment is it ok to start administering Ulceraser before treatment ends?
Yes, in fact we recommend it so your horse starts receiving the benefits of the supplement prior to the acid rebound effect, which begins when treatment ends.
Is there a difference between the carrot and peppermint gummies?
The only difference between the two is their taste. The peppermint gummy is made with peppermint extract and the carrot gummy is made with carrot purée. Both gummies contain the same amount of active ingredients.

Administer 4 Electrobites after strenuous activity when horse has been sweating or in other situations where replenishing lost minerals and electrolytes, or encouraging the horse to drink is desired. Fresh, clean water should always be available.
If you have horses that are trailering and you stop to give them water, you can give the Electrobites right when the water is available.
Do the gummies change color over time?
Your eyes are not playing tricks on you! It is completely normal for the gummies to darken over time. This does not affect the efficacy or the safety of the gummies. The darker color is a normal response to oxidation.

Yes. Most horses taper to the maintenance dose without issue, but for horses needing additional support it is safe to feed the higher dose daily.

The average time frame is 2-3 weeks, but because all horses are unique it can vary. Some horses will respond within 1 week and others may take up to 4 or 5 weeks to respond.
How many pumps of Positude do I administer?
The pump is 1/2oz. For the loading dose you should dispense two pumps (1oz) AM/PM for the first week. The maintenance dose is one pump (1/2oz) AM/PM.
Is it ok to use Positude and altrenogest (Regumate)?
Yes. Regumate and Positude are different. Regumate is designed to prevent a mare from cycling, but Positude is not. Positude helps address the behavioral side effects associated with the estrus cycle. Most people find that Positude is so effective in addressing their mare’s behavior that they do not need Regumate, but it is ok to use both.
Is Positude effective for geldings and stallions?
Yes. People see a significant improvement in their geldings’ and stallions’ attitude and behavior on Positude. Positude is not just for mares.

Why does my horse need electrolytes?
Electrolytes replenish minerals lost in equine sweat. Maintaining a proper electrolyte balance in your horse is necessary for nerve, muscle, and brain function.
Is salt different than electrolytes?
Yes. Salt is just sodium chloride. Electrolytes contain more than sodium chloride and are designed to mimic the minerals lost in equine sweat, which include sodium, chloride, potassium, calcium and magnesium.
Is it better to add the electrolyte to feed or water?
It’s definitely better to add the electrolyte to your horse’s feed so that fresh, clean water is always available. Some horses won’t drink water mixed with electrolytes and you don’t want to deter your horse from drinking.
How many tubes should I give?
That depends on your horse. Some horses and ponies need only 1 tube 1.5 hours prior to the anticipated event. Others require a second tube 30 minutes prior to the event.
Is it safe to give more than 2 tubes if my horse needs it?
Why is Sudden Comfort paste thicker than other brands?
There are several reasons. First, the paste is not diluted with any filler. Second, in order to make the most effective product in the smallest possible volume we use only the minimum amount of oil needed. Third, the thicker paste is actually preferred by the horses and they are less likely to drool or spit it out when administered.
